To follow up the Salmon Toe is the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III Navy/Aqua.We don t get a detailed look at the shoe, but what we can see is enough. The upper is a mixture of nubuck and mesh and sports white laces. The mesh covers the interior of the toe box and and the tongue. The nubuck on the other hand claims the toe box, mid panel, and the lace stays. Below the aqua upper is a white midsole and a black outsole to finish things out. No release info is available, but we will definitely keep you updated.

The design is complemented by red, which definitely brightens up the look of the shoe.

We have seen the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III Super Red �, Ronnie Fieg x Timberland Fur-Lined Timberlands, and Ronnie Fieg x Polo Ralph Lauren Grey Ranger ÜCookie Boot all within the last six months. For his next touch, Ronnie decided asics gel kayano 24 to go with the Asics GT-II Aqua.

With an upper made of a combination of mesh and premium nubuck, you would think the materials would stand out. However, it is the bright aqua color that dominates the upper that catches your eye. The qua color is broken up into thre different shades and each is highlighted by the associated materials. A taste of white is thrown in beneath the aqua on the Asics logo as well as the Gel branding on the midsole. The lining is all grey which helps strike a delicate balance between the three shades on qua on the shoe. As they are only a sample, they will not make it to production.

However, I think I am partial to these grey on grey Gel Lytes just released by Asics at Allike. The new colorway uses sports a dual grey upper made of leather. the two toned color gives the shoe some depth and really accents the Asics logo and lace stays. The most distinctive part of the shoe is the red striped midsole and asics 2019 matching laces. The stripes resemble those from the barbershop sign and look great against the grey. As I previously mentioned, they are available now at retailers including Allike.

Asics 2010 Spring/Summer Preview Jan 19, 2010 Asics plans to make an impact at the upcoming Bright Tradeshow with their Spring/Summer 2010 release of the Gel Lyte II and Aaron MT CV. The Gel Lyte II use a combination of suede and nylon for the uppers, while the Aaron MT CV uses a a tweed mesh for the midtop. Both shoes will come in three different colorways and will be released in July.
