BALTIMORE -- The first ball Babe Ruth hit over the fence in Yankee Stadium and his 1918 contract with the Boston Red Sox are among about three dozen Ruth-related items scheduled for auction in Baltimore. The auction at the Sports Legends Museum will be held Saturday night, a day after the 100th anniversary of Ruths major league debut. He played his first game on July 11, 1914.
